Good videos. I have questions about how to wash the vegetables.
I read on the internet that you are supposed to wash the broccoli and soak the broccoli with water and vinegar to wash it.
Love your “real” Persian cooking videos! You explain and demonstrate in a very professional and friendly manner. I always leave the computer with new techniques, new preparations and an appetitie for Persian food!
I lived in Ahwaz, Iran from for 4 years (1974-1978) with my Persian husband and 3 small children. We were very fortunate to have a Persian lady who lived with us the entire time who assisted in caring for the children and also was an excellent cook! She prepared a couple of things I do not see on your video list and would be very interested in learning how to prepare these dishes. One dish was something like a ball of mashed potato that was stuffed with a ground beef tomato mixture and then fried and it was Delish! Another dish was pumpkin khoresht. I do not remember the other ingredients, but I do remember it being pumpkin and was sereved on rice. It was also heavenly!
I was married for 25 years, however have been divorced for the past 19. My adult children still love Persian food as well. I do prepare such things as khoresht bademjune, gorma sabzi, khoresht bameya, masta khiar and have mastered the perfect pot of Persian rice! I have purchased all the ingredients for kalam polo and can’t wait to make it!
Thank you for your videos and all the wonderful foods you prepare online. Hope you can help me with the preparation of the potato and pumpkin dishes I described abve.
