Poetry has deep root in Persians’ lives from many years ago. Most of us have grown up hearing, listening to and memorizing many poems. Poems have touched the hearts and souls of Persians throughout history.
In this particular video I recite one of my recent poetry named “Gorizan” for you.

Your poem “love is not…” Could you please translate it for me. I tried on behnevis but it was very long and my Persian/Farsi is bad nistam . I am still learning. I enjoy Omar Khayam translated by Edward Fitzgerald
Ah Love! Could you and I with Him conspire
To grasp this sorry scheme of things entire
Would not we shatter it to bits-and then
Re-mould it nearer to the Heart’s Desire!
I would like to learn share your enthusiasm for the love of poetry. Sometimes there are no words besides poetry to explain the heart the mind the soul 2068903433 please call anytime????
