Persian Torshi is one of the most exquisite components of Perisan cuisine. Iranians have a great number of different types of torshi according to regional customs and different events. In some families, the Sofreh is not complete without a bowl of torshi on the table.
Always learn the basics about cooking first. If you have not already done so, get my How to make Persian Torshi DVD to learn the basics. Once you know the basics though, you should get creative and come up with your own Torshi.
This video, is an example of a Torshi that I created. I hope it inspires you to create your own.
Here is a picture of the final product

It is really beautiful. Now you have to convince your guests that it could be consumed after a couple of months. Have you seen the center pieces that are really cakes? You did a great job as usual, what can I say? I guess it is KShar!
Thank you Reza jon, for all your support.

Hi KShar jan, I love all your videos, you are one of the best. Your website is like my little treasure for cooking. I looove torshi, but it never turns out good when I make them. I live in Canada, and I can’t find vinegar like the ones my mom used to make her torshi with in Iran. I have tried different kinds of vinegar, but all make my torshi very soft and taste weird. Can you please tell me what kinds of vinegar did you use for yours? Thank you so so much!
I use apple cider vinegar, what you are using is acid not vinegar,
