Khoreste Efenaj, or Spinach stew, is made in many different variations:
The sauce is made either, sour or sweet and sour.
For meat you can use either chicken, beef, lamb, or even ground beef in the form of meat balls.
You can also use Persian Alou, or you may use dried prune.
In the version I have made in this video, the sauce is sweet and sour, and I have used chicken for the meat. Using chicken will take much less time to cook and prepare. Also, dried prunes were my choice in this video…
Now it’s your turn, pull out your calendar and decide when you will cook this stew. Once you’ve cooked it, take your phone and snap a picture of your final product and share it on KShar’s Kitchen for everyone to see.
As always, I would love for you to leave a comment for me and share this page with your friends and family.
