Good job Mr K, just a couple of suggestions:
1-Need an about section and contact section in your website.
2-I think the video clips on uTube are too long, maybe if you do some prepping ahead of time, it won’t go on so long. A Sekanjebin receipe went for 2 clips more than 20 minutes.
3-I think it’s better of you botton up your shirt in your videos, I just saw one clip that your bottons were open all the way to your belly. I know that was fashion back home a long time ago, but not too attractive here.

Thank you and keep up the good work

Thank you Ray for all your suggestions. I have been here most of my life and dont know much about fashion back home.

I think its good to unbutton your shirt :) I have lived in England all my life (though my parents are Irani) and I think western people are just too uptight about that. I do it and like to think I look like Ferry Farokhzad. Zendebad agha kshar :)

Jeffrey, I don’t have a DVD that has everything. Honestly, we have not seen a need to produce that collection as everything is available free here on the website and on YouTube. Subscribe to the email list so you don’t miss any of the new releases. Thanks for being a part of my community.

Hello Kshar I just wanted to tell you thank you for all the awsome recipes of Persian food, and all the wonderful design tips you give us. I’m Assyrian from Iran lived here since I was 5 and I was really never too interested in learning how to make traditional food until I ran into your videos on YouTube looking for salad Olivieh recipe, and now I am addicted to watching your videos and trying the recipes for my self so I say to you thank you and most importantly my husband thanks you very much too, we have been married for 7 years now and I have never cooked as much as I have in the past couple of weeks. One request can you do a video on shola zard I’m not sure if I have spelled it correct but it’s the rice and safaron dish. Again thank you and keep up the good work!

Love your cooking videos on youtube! Saffron is so expensive > Do you have any hints on where to get it @ the best price? and best quality. Years ago I saw a tiny bottle at Walmart for 19 dollars ,no telling how much it is now!

thanks so much. I wish I was your friend or neighbor LOL

Yes , you are right Charlee, but you don’t need to use a lot, I do some times go crazy with saffron LOL. No the cheapest would be to get it from Iran. that is what i do. I thank you for your support. Keep it cooking.

I love your videos on youtube and have turned my young adult daughter to them to watch & learn how to cook Persian meals. One thing though, there seems to be no ingredient measurement and so it is difficult to prepare meals. What suggestions do you have to remedy this.

Kshar,

Thank you for spending your time to make such wonderful videos. I am half persian, half mexican but my dad passed away when I was a little girl. Thus, I never had the opportunity to learn the language, learn the culture, or learn how to cook persian food. Your videos have encouraged me to go to the grocery store and purchase all these delicious ingredients. I am now trying my best to try and cook all these things. Thank you so much for your poetry, food, and beautiful decorations. Your simple videos touch many hearts.

Sincerely,
Nassrin

salam doost man, i have been in this bus for a long time. You need to be very familiar with cooking your self, the menu should be short and sweet , don’t offer a lot of dishes at first, see your customers and then add on as you go on. as for the chef i think putting an ad in persian news papers should do it. I wish you best of luck, and keep it cooking.

I have watched many of your shows and tried your fish and chicken and vegetable recipes. And I give you four stars on all of them.

In your illurstrations you have a pre mixed bottle of saffron mix. How do you make that, and how much saffron and water do you use?

I would like to make enough for several days.

Thank you for watching, it is saffron water, powder saffron and hot water, don’t need to make much, the ratio is one to ten portion.

Great instructions – glad I found your videos. We love persian food and it is difficult to find consistent preparation, even our favorite place on the peninsula can be just a little careless at times.
Do you have sources for shopping in the Bay Area for special ingredients, special pans for rice, specifically in Oakland-Berkeley?
Best place to purchase saffron?
What is the difference between basmati and ‘aged basmati’? Which is best for persian rice recipes?
We don’t have an outdoor grill, at what temp and timing can I cook the joojeh kabobs in the oven, broil (hi or low), rack position?
Can I use wooden skewers, or does metal produce better results?
what type of oil do you use when making sauces (for joojeh for example), oiling pans, etc. ?
Do I need a special pot for rice dishes? Special pot for Tadig crust to form?
Please forgive all of the questions – they come to mind.
