Facebook contest

by on August 5, 2012

I am so excited to announce KShar’s Kitchen monthly contest for our wonderful Facebook fans.

Here is how the contest will work:
Each month you will enter the contest by
Preparing a meal following a recipe of your choice from http://KShar.net/.
Once you have finished, take a picture of your final presentation of the dish.
Send us the picture either by attaching it to a Facebook message or email it to info@kshar.net (if you email make sure to send the email from the same account you use for your Facebook).
We will then post your picture, tag you in it. You can then share your picture with friends and family and get as many ‘likes’ as you can.

At the end of the month, the picture with most number of likes will win the contest.
Here are the rules of the contest:
1. The meal you make MUST be selected from http://kshar.net/
2. YOU must make the food and take the picture.
3. You MUST ‘LIKE’ KShar’s Kitchen page on Facebook
4. You Must be on our mailing list (right side of http://kshar.net/)
5. Only one picture per person per month
6. You can use any form of promotion you choose to get more ‘likes’ for your pictures except reposting on KShar’s Kitchen Facebook page

I will announce the Prize every month since it will be different each month.

the judging criteria is really unfair, i think. you should not base it on how many likes one gets because that just depends on how many people you have on your friends list, etc. make it a true competition and judge for yourself 😉

Thank you for your suggestion, but I thought this way it would be better, every six months i will select my choice out of all entries.

well, that’s a shame, because it seems like you’re only looking to host a popularity contest to boost your own facebook likes. oh well, your website, your choice, of course hehe

Nothing wrong with the way how it works and nothing wrong with a bit of Marketing. Just enjoy Kshar’s wonderful teachings and keep yourself happy Jal.
